Several of the solar cookers on display were so large they had to be transported to the potluck on trailers. This Sam Irwin Solar Chef, built in the 1970s, has been used at previous potlucks to cook two 16 pound turkeys at the same time. The cooking time on the turkeys was approximately 5 hours.
