April 29: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tour features homes and buildings that utilize renewable energy, or energy efficient technology, design, innovation, etc. No charge. Guides available across the valley (see below for locations/maps) and downloadable/printable from this page. We need volunteers. The Valley of the Sun Chapters of the Arizona Solar Energy Association, the Arizona Solar Center, the Salt River Project, and the City of Scottsdale Green Building Program, in special partnership with Arizona Public Service, will provide the Arizona public opportunity to see a variety of solar, energy and resource efficient buildings that embody a variety of aspects of sustainability, and meet the people that live and work in them.
Sunday: Solar Spring Open House, Hydrogen House - FULL
April 30: Afternoon. Event consists of a tour (open house) of Hydrogen House, a home of a unique and interesting Valley construction. Attendees meet at a specific location for controlled transportation to the site, within a gated community. $5.00 donation. For more information, contact Jim Stack (480) 659-5513. EVENT FULL
